Pre-2003 HP Retiree Medical Program

Who’s eligible for the program?

You’re generally eligible for the Pre-2003 HP Retiree Medical Program if you satisfy all of the following criteria:

  • You were employed by HP continuously from December 31, 2002, through July 31, 2015;
  • You had 62 or more age-plus-service “points” as of December 31, 2005; and
  • You were within five years of satisfying the program’s eligibility requirements as of June 30, 2007 (meaning you were age 50 or older with at least 10 years of qualifying HP service).*

*For this purpose, your age and service were determined as of June 30, 2007, without any rounding. For example, you were considered to be age 50 only if you were born on or before June 30, 1957.

Enrolling in retiree medical coverage

The Pre-2003 HP Retiree Medical Program is maintained by HP Inc. For more information or to enroll, call the HP Benefits Center at 1-800-890-3100.

Take action

  • To enroll in retiree medical coverage, call the HP Benefits Center at 1-800-890-3100 a few days after your HPE termination date.
  • Enrollment in continued dental and vision coverage may be available from HPE through COBRA.
